Short History of "RED"

Laser pioneers were red colour emitting lasersystems - Ruby laser or Helium-Neon gaslaser. Later developments: Ionlaser, Crypton laser or the mixed Gas-Ionlasers, emitting all wavelengths. Minus Factors: poor power efficiency, water cooling, large dimension etc., not suitable enough for the dynamic showlaser market.

Diode lasers brought the great change. ARCTOS started the first diode combined beamsource series eraly 2003, already with remarkable data:
650nm, 1000mW @1mrad; 3,8mm.
We have developed and reached extensive laserpower and top beam quality of >6,5W, maintaining our values: STABILITY, great BEAM-data, long LIFETIME.

Now the latest 655nm and 640nm diode lasers offer the highest optical output power and red colour wavelength band. For ARCTOS whitelight lasers:
higher whitelight balance and brighter red power visibility factor.
In addition: with Arctos original diode combining pattern, unique stability and outstandingly good graphical beam quality.
